who we are

The Global Platform Workers Solidarity Project (GPWSP) is a growing community of grassroots gig and platform worker organizations from 27+ countries, allied by responsible investors, civil society organizations, and researchers.

We are a space for workers across all sectors of gig and platform work, including those which often get left out: care and domestic workers, home service and nursing, the data workers behind AI, and rideshare and delivery workers.

WHAT WE DO

GPWSP is focused on building solidarity, knowledge, and collective power to demand respect for workers' rights and build a digital economy which recognizes all of our humanity. We do this through transnational exchange, education, collaboration, and communications.

As the gig and platform economy has expanded, so has the precarity that comes with it, especially for already vulnerable people such as migrants, women, people with disabilities, and people from the Global Majority. GPWSP facilitates engagement across different identities, capital markets, geographies, and sectors to influence multinational platform companies.

We are building abroad, inclusive community that is intertwined
with feminist, disability, environmental, and other intersectional movements. We know that the fight for
ajust digital future requires all of our collaboration.
